BCTjr: What We Do
BCTjr is where the magic begins for youngsters new to theater and those who desire to bolster their theatrical résumé.
With well more than 20 successful productions featuring the youthful talents of numerous children from throughout the region, BCTjr has provided youngsters ranging in age from 6 to 18 the space, time, and knowledge to discover and experience the theatrical process from beginning to end. This primer to stagecraft is geared specifically for those new and not-so-new performers in your home.
We invite you to join us at BCTjr when the time comes to reveal the magic of the imagination to the youth in your family!
A Christmas Cinderella adapted by Kathryn Schultz Miller and directed by Rana Tan. To be performed December 12th and 13th at 7PM, and December 13th and 14th at 2:30PM.
Poor Cinderella works all day to please her stepmother Snaggle-Bones and her stepsisters Bella-Bomb, Lulu-Lolly and Chatty-Matty, and dreams of going to the Christmas ball. But since this play is set at Christmas, the pumpkin becomes a sleigh! The mice become flying reindeer! And who should be the coachman? Why it's Santa Claus himself! Cinderella's special mouse friends (Nibbles, Squeaky, Sweetie-Pie, Nosy, Cheese-head, Sam, Fuzzy, Wuzzy, Ein and Stein) take center stage in their comic plot to help Cinderella meet her Prince Charming, just in time for a Christmas Day wedding. BCTjr is proud to present this musical play adaptation of the classic fairy tale just in time for the holidays.
Audition Dates
November 2nd and 3rd from 6:30-8:30PM at Bremerton Community Theatre.
Audition Information
You do not need to prepare a song or monologue, and you do not need to attend both days to be considered for a part. Auditions will be comprised of group activities and readings from the script. Children ages 6-18
